August might be well and truly over, but that surely doesn’t mean it’s time to start celebrating Christmas? Bargain retailer B&M have already started selling their first chocolate advent calendars, yes, in September, and one of the offerings is a Reese’s Pieces peanut butter cup one. Being exclusive to the retail store, you’ll get 24 peanut butter cups (one for each day) in the calendar, which will set you back £4.99 – a bargain considering the singularly wrapped miniature cups are currently selling for £22 per party bag on Amazon. We’re wondering if the early arrival of the luxury calendar has anything to do with its mass popularity last year, with several money-saving groups on Facebook going wild for the iconic American treat. Sadly, due to the way B&M and it’s bargains work, you can’t buy anything from the store online, meaning you’ll have to schlep to the shop – and likely fight off other keen customers – to get hold of one this year. Good luck! And it seems B&M aren’t the only ones getting involved with the advent calendar action, with Boots having also just launched the waiting list for their exceedingly popular £40 No7 beauty advent calendar, which last year had 100,000 people signed up to it before it was even released.
