It seems that the dipping sales of Samsung flagship phones have forced the South Korean smartphone manufacturing company to take some serious steps to regain their position in the market. If rumors from Ice Universe, one of the most popular leaksters, are to be believed, Samsung is set to unveil a smartphone featuring four cameras this year. By four cameras we do not mean two rear cameras and two front mounted cameras. Ice Universe has also said that the rumored phone will not be S10 or Galaxy F (speculated foldable smartphone series from Samsung). That leaves us with Samsung Galaxy F which has been a hot topic when Samsung rumors are considered. Most surprising part of the rumor is that the Samsung smartphone with four cameras is coming in 2018. It is not sure whether the touted smartphone will be launched this year, but we can expect a teaser from Samsung by the end of 2018. With four cameras, Samsung can pack exceptional AR gaming capabilities or VR powers to support Samsung Gear VR headset. Ice Universe has caused quite a commotion in the smartphone market with this rumor. I guess we will have to wait for the remaining months of the year to see whether Samsung is ready to pull out an ace to shock the industry.
