The demo is described as a "visual showcase" and that's certainly true. The game gives you multiple areas to explore, including a prison, smaller rooms in the castle that are covered in blood and writing, and larger, grandoise rooms. You go from an enclosed space, to slightly larger spaces, to a wide open room in a way that makes you feel like you're escaping, that you're succeeding. Xbox fans are understandably angry. Microsoft stands alone in being the only major platform holder to force players of Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, and other popular free-to-play games to pay a subscription fee for access to multiplayer. That fee has now doubled annually for most Xbox players, as the majority of people buy codes to top up their Xbox Live subscription. Qualcomm and Apple had battled in courts around the globe over patents and Qualcomm's licensing terms. The two giants reached a licensing and chip supply agreement a year ago, just after opening arguments began in a trial in San Diego.
