NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Asus recently confirmed that it will launch its next-generation gaming smartphone -- Asus ROG Phone 5 globally on March 10. The company has now confirmed that it will launch the smartphone in India on the same date at 4.15 pm IST. Successor to the last year launched Asus ROG Phone 3, the smartphone will be sold on Flipkart. Announcing the launch event, S.Y. Hsu, co-chief executive officer at Asus said, "Taking forward the legacy of the legendary ROG Phone, the new device is guaranteed to blow your mind with a stunning display, top-notch performance and audio, ultimate speed and control, and cutting-edge technology!" The yet-to-launch Asus ROG Phone 5 received TENAA certification. As per the listing, the Asus ROG Phone 5 will come with a 6.78-inch OLED full HD+ display. Instagram says it added the "feature" to the app because of the traction Reels is seeing in the country. Back in December, Instagram introduced a clutter-free version of its app for users in India, dubbed Instagram Lite. To provide a smooth experience to users even on low-end phones with limited storage, Instagram got rid of features like Reels, Shopping, and IGTV for the Lite version.
