The only real difference between the two chips are the clock speeds. The upcoming CPU's base clock is down as 3.6 GHz, making it just 100 MHz slower than the Core i9-10900K. It can boost up to 5.18 GHz, whereas its sibling can hit 5.3 GHz with Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB), suggesting the Core i9-10850K lacks this feature. … [Read more...] about Ten cores for less money? Early results showed that Geekbench via Rosetta on an A12Z outperformed Microsoft’s ARM-based Surface Pro X running a native version of the same benchmarking tool. Take those results with a pinch of salt, but it’s a good sign, considering the A12Z is a two-year-old chip. The first ARM-based Mac could use a far more powerful processor than the one in the iPad Pro. … [Read more...] about Macs Will Run iPhone and iPad Apps: Here’s How It Will Work
The Pi 3 keeps the same dimensions as its predecessor and retains the HDMI port, Ethernet, MicroSD, and four USB ports. It uses a 400MHz Broadcom VideoCore IV 3D graphics processor, rather than the Pi 2’s 250MHz version. 1080p video support goes up to 60fps from 30fps, and H.265 support is also introduced, but this is limited to 1080p at 30fps. … [Read more...] about The $35, 64-bit Raspberry Pi 3 is here: now 50 percent faster and with built-in Wi-Fi
The biggest (and only real) difference between these two Echos is the fact that the Echo Plus (2nd Gen) has a built-in Zigbee smart hub, which allows it to communicate more easily with more smart home products right out of the box. Amazon has introduced a new Certified for Humans program which promises easier setup and use of smart home devices with its Echo products, so having a built-in smart home hub is not the selling point it once seemed to be. … [Read more...] about Amazon Echo vs. Dot vs. Show vs. Plus: Which Echo should you buy in 2020?
