Japanese optical products maker Olympus Corporation has decided to sell its camera division after 84 years. The company said that the imaging part of its business would go to Japan Industrial Partners, Inc. or JIP. JIP bought the VAIO laptop branding rights from Sony. Likely the last smartwatch of the early days, heck even in recent memory, that genuinely had a fan following was the 2015 Huawei Watch — another entry into the lazily named watches group.
