Today marks the five year anniversary of the original release of Grand Theft Auto V. It had the biggest launch in entertainment history. GTA V has gone to become one of the most successful games of all time, and its multiplayer mode, GTA Online, has a huge fan base and continues to be updated. After five years, a lot has happened. But on September 17th, 2013, it was finally released for Xbox 360 and PS3. Tanker truck explodes
Elon Musk plans to blast a tourist around the moon in a ship made by his rocket company, SpaceX. The private lunar mission is meant to demonstrate a new two-part launch system called Big Falcon Rocket, which is designed to eventually bring humans to Mars. Engineers are said to be building a prototype of the BFR’s spaceship primarily out of carbon-fiber composites. Exactly how SpaceX is building that spaceship isn’t publicly known, but industry experts have some guesses. Aerospace engineers, astronauts, and Musk himself have said the first missions to Mars are likely to be perilous. In December, a giant white tent appeared at the Port of Los Angeles. An Italian footballer driving across the doomed Genoa motorway bridge when it collapsed leaving at least 35 people dead has relived his miracle escape. Ex-goalkeeper Davide Capello is among the survivors of the tragedy which has plunged Italy into mourning and sparked a huge investigation. Capello, 33, thought he was going to die and could only watch in terror as the road disappeared before his eyes sending his car plummeting to the ground. "I was convinced it was going to end badly," the ex-pro goalkeeper, who now plays for amateur side Legino, told local media from hospital. "But thank God I’ve lived to tell the tale." He said tonight: “It's incredible that I'm still alive. It's a miracle." So far 22 people have been confirmed dead, but the number is expected to rise to more than 35 as more bodies are recovered from the rubble. CCTV has captured the moment a petrol tanker caused a fiery explosion when it slammed into the back of a truck on a motorway near Bologna airport in Italy. The truck driver was the only person killed when it hit the truck in heavy traffic exploded and sent a huge ball of fire and black smoke into the sky. Video of Monday's incident showed the tanker, which was carrying liquefied petroleum gas bursting into flames. Later the tanker exploded sending flames across all eight lanes of the road , causing parts of the raised highway to collapse. Luckily, the road had been evacuated by this time. Around 70 people are said to be injured, many with burns or cuts from flying glass when windows of buildings nearby were shattered in the blast. The victim was identified as 41-year-old Andrea Anziolin of the northern city of Vicenza.
