We narrowed down a list of over 120 possible competitors down to just 20 and you can choose from there! Android gaming took a massive step in 2018. We saw some truly big name releases with PUBG Mobile and Fortnite along with some new games from previously outstanding mobile gaming franchises. The list is varied and includes shooters, RPGs, tower defense games, puzzle games, big cross-overs, and even a quiz game. Publisher Netmarble has released Knights Chronicle for Android in the Google Play Store. The free-to-play game is a turn-based RPG with an anime art style. Gamers can form parties of up to five players to go on raids in multiplayer dungeons. Want to check out a new turn-based RPG with an anime art style? Publisher Netmarble hopes that’s the case with the launch of its newest mobile title Knights Chronicle. The free-to-play game is now available for Android in the Google Play Store.The game takes place on the planet of Garniel, and follows the adventures of Leona, Theo and their friends as they try to save their world from destruction. Update (05/31): Might & Magic: Elemental Guardians is now available to download on Android devices via the Google Play Store. Publisher Ubisoft celebrated the launch with a new trailer (above) showing the turn-based gameplay in action. If you pre-registered to play Elemental Guardians you’ll be able to grab a “special reward” in-game until June 7. Gumi Inc.’s The Alchemist Code has found a recipe for success. Since launching worldwide in November, people have downloaded the mobile strategy RPG five million times. It’s free-to-play with in-app purchases on iOS and Android devices. The title is the global adaptation of the Japanese strategy RPG For Whom the Alchemist Exists, which was exclusively released in Japan. It features a fantasy world with turn-based combat that uses its 3D terrain, as well as the trappings of classic JRPGs like a job system and myriad characters who can join your party. Gumi is celebrating its 5 million milestone with in-game events that will start on May 3 and run until May 30. Players will receive extra in-game currency to buy limited-edition items, and the developer is also adding in more login bonuses like Gear Summon Tickets, which enable players to get new equipment. Anime streaming site Crunchyroll is publishing its first mobile game, Memoria Freese. It’s based on the popular anime series Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, otherwise known as “Dan-Machi,” which is an abbreviation of the Japanese title. The original Memoria Freese debuted in Japan in 2017, and Crunchyroll has teamed up with developer Gree to localize and distribute it in English. Starting today, it’s available to play on iOS and Android devices for free. Dan-Machi started out as an illustrated novel series by author Fujino Ōmori and illustrator Suzuhito Yasuda. It follows teenaged protagonist Bell Cranel as he goes on adventures and searches for treasure in dungeons in a fantasy world.
